Points of Reference | Fracturing the Sublime
A Solo Exhibition at the Yukon Arts Centre of this work has been a long time coming! Many works have been in storage since 2014, but the production of several new large scale paintings and the creation of a photo based interactive installation have been added into the mix thanks to the support from a Yukon Advanced Artist Award. My friend and fellow artist Kaisu Koivisto whom I met on the Arctic Circle Residency also has an adjacent show. Exhibition runs until May 25 2019.

Canada Council for the Arts Grant 2019
I am so proud to have been granted a Canada Council Explore and Create Grant . It supported my recent Residency in New Mexico and the development of New Work to come over the next year.

Helene Wurlitzer Foundation Residency
From September through December 2018 I had the pleasure to travel to Taos New Mexico to Participate in the Helene Wurlitzer Artist Residency. This was an amazing opportunity to think and experiment and find clarity of focus as I embark upon creating a new body of work. The landscape and community and fellow artist residents made for a supportive and simulating environment. I can only describe my time there as magical.
